Among presented television stations, RT, formerly Russia Today, had the largest coverage of Russia in October 2024. In that month, RT broadcast over 1,800 15-second blocks mentioning the words "Russia" or "Russian." Across the world, the coverage of the country sharply increased in February 2022 due to the invasion of Ukraine. The number of 15-second TV blocks on Deutsche Welle (DW) and CNN reached around 36,800 and 31,300 in March 2022, up 15 times and 41 times compared to March 2021, respectively. In March 2022, Deutsche Welle released the most broadcasts mentioning Russia.
