As of the first half of 2024, it is estimated that 74 pre-seed investment deals were closed by technology start-ups in Israel. This indicated an easing of the downturn in the number of pre-seed capital rounds that began in 2023. Between 2022 and 2023, the number of investments in Israeli seed companies decreased by about 50 percent.
