The value of orders for the renovation of non-residential buildings received by construction companies in Japan amounted to nine trillion Japanese yen in the fiscal year 2023. This represented a year-on-year increase of 17.9 percent. At the same time, the order value for dwelling renovations reached 4.3 trillion yen, increasing by nine percent.
