As of December 2022, there were about 150 thousand Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers (AB-HWCs) across India. There was an increase in AB-HWCs from fiscal year 2019 to 2022. AB-HWCs provide free essential medicine and diagnostic services and teleconsultation.
