Ahead of Nigeria's 2023 elections, the majority of individuals in the country who partook in the continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise were aged 18-34 years. This referred to more than 71 percent of the registrations, which ended on July 31 2022. Overall, over 12 million new national voter registrations were recorded during the exercise.
