Drivers of participation in online video shopping events U.S. 2022, by gender
Across both female and male U.S. consumers who have previously participated in online video shopping events, the offering of a 'buy now, pay later' service is the most important feature which determines whether they will participate in such events. This service was particularly important to men, with 64 percent, compared with just 42 percent of women. Notably, this survey suggests that 12 percent of female respondents take into account whether they actually need or want the products being offered when deciding whether to participate in an online video shopping event, compared to just three percent of men.
