Favorite platforms for watching online shopping videos in the U.S. 2022, by gender
Across both male and female U.S. consumers, social media was the preferred platform for watching online video shopping events. Though the difference is marginal between genders, this survey suggests that social media was favored by men (67 percent) to a greater degree than women (58 percent). Correspondingly, women showed greater preference for brand's websites and, in particular, retailer's websites for this purpose.
