A 2022 survey of internet users in the United States found a relationship between users' addiction to digital devices and the level of their happiness. Approximately 35 percent of those who considered themselves addicted or somewhat addicted to digital appliances felt unhappy. On the other hand, 75 percent of respondents, who were not addicted to devices, reported feeling very or relatively happy.
