Number of tourist establishments in Ghana 2015-2021
In 2021, nearly 4,850 tourist establishments were in Ghana. Between 2015 and 2021, the number generally increased, with an all-time high in 2019, at 5,287. This was possibly due to the launching of the Year of Return and its associated events in 2019. Establishments in the tourism industry here include travel agencies and reservation services, food and beverage serving activities, and travel agencies.
