Share of schools with intranet in Czechia 2019-2021, by school level
In the observed period, intranet use in Czech schools increased across all levels. This could be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, which rapidly increased the need for the intranet in schools for remote communication and educational purposes. The penetration of intranet in preschools hit only 15.3 percent in 2021, while the figures for the other school levels were much higher that year. The share of middle schools with intranet increased by more than 35 percent to 73.7 percent between 2019 and 2021, while a total of 82.4 percent of high schools had an intranet system set up in 2021.
