
Likelihood of Netflix users to switch to ad-supported tier in the U.S. 2022
As of October 2022, one in three U.S. Netflix users interviewed in a survey stated that they would likely switch to the streaming service's ad-supported plan. After reporting subscriber losses in the first half of 2022, Netflix launched an ad-supported version in 12 countries, including the U.S., Canada, and Germany, amongst others, in November of the same year.
