Electoral turnout was significantly lower among the immigrant population in Norway than among non-immigrants. Whereas 70 percent of the latter group casted their vote at the local election in 2023, less than half of each group of immigrants chose to do so. Voter turnout was especially low among foreign citizens, of which only one fourth casted a vote.
