As of October 2022, adult fans of the James Bond film franchise surveyed in the United States expressed the highest favorability for Tom Hardy to play the lead role in an upcoming production of the movie series. Almost half of the respondents reported a favorable impression of Hardy. Henry Cavill and Tom Hiddleston followed with favorability rates of 43 and 38 percent, respectively.
