In a survey conducted amongst organizations in Australia in early 2022, around 38 percent of respondents considered monitoring remote worker access would pose a challenge in protecting their network against cyber threats and attacks in the 12 months following the survey. A shortage of IT security skills and a lack of budget were also identified as top challenges by around one third of respondents.
Leading challenges foreseen by organizations in protecting their networks against cyber threats and attacks in Australia in 2022
Australian sample included respondents ranging from chief executives to senior analysts from 100 small, mid-sized, and large Australian organizations. The organizations were primarily business/professional services (16%), retail (16%), high tech (11%), and education (9%).
