There are a total of 179 seats in the Danish parliament. 175 of these are elected on the Danish mainland, the other four are elected in Greenland and on the Faroe Islands with two from each district. Of the mainland districts, the region of Zealand-Southern Denmark sends the highest number of parliamentarians with 64 seats.
