Measures taken by Malaysians to cope with rising prices 2022
According to a survey in 2022, the majority of Malaysians would spend less on socializing and holidays to cope with the increasing price amidst inflation, with 45 percent and 42 percent of the respondents said they would cut back on socializing and holidays respectively. In the same year, Malaysia's inflation rate was estimated to be higher than the previous years.
