In 2021, Lojas Americanas and B2W Digital merged to form Americanas S.A., a strategic move that combined the strengths of both companies under a unified brand. By 2023, Americanas S.A. generated approximately 20 billion Brazilian reals in gross revenue. However, in January of that year, the company filed for bankruptcy.
