As of 2020, the majority of people in Ghana accessed online marketplaces via mobile apps. This referred to more than 40.6 million web visitors, a decrease, however, from the previous year. On the other hand, only around 18 percent of the web traffic was achieved without the use of mobile apps. The most popular online marketplace in Ghana is Jumia, which operates in several other African countries.
