During a study conducted among series viewers in Brazil in May 2022, respondents of all ages reported an increase in series-watching compared to before March 2020 – therefore, before the COVID-19 outbreak. About two-thirds (66 percent) of interviewee members of generation Z said their consumption of series rose.
