As of 2020, most online marketplaces in Ghana were owned by intermediaries. This referred to slightly over 94 percent of the marketplaces, while the remaining share belonged to retailers. In the previous year, the shares remained the same. In Ghana, the most popular online marketplace is Jumia, a marketplace for physical goods operating in several other African countries.
