In 2022, the share of the population aged 65 years and above in the South Korean province of Gyeonggi reached around 14.7 percent of Gyeonggi's population, up from about 13.9 percent in the previous year. The share of the elderly in Gyeonggi has steadily increased throughout the surveyed period.
