As of 2020, most marketplace web visitors in Ghana were men, accounting for slightly over 66 percent of the total visitors. In contrast, women covered nearly 34 percent of the online marketplace visitors. The share for women was lower compared to the previous year, meaning that men are increasingly accessing online marketplaces. In Ghana, the most popular online marketplace is Jumia, a company operating in several other African countries.
