When it comes to the most popular video-on-demand brands in the UK, Netflix tops the list. The American streaming service is recognized by 96 % of internet respondents in United Kingdom, 2 % more than the second placed Amazon Prime Video (94 %). Disney+ (93 %), that was launched in the UK in 2020, has made significant inroads as it is currently the third most popular video-on-demand service in the UK.
For this study, brand awareness was surveyed employing the concept of aided brand recognition, showing respondents both the brand's logo and the written brand name.
