In the first nine months of 2023, Bac Giang, a city in northern Vietnam, had the largest share of the newly registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in the manufacturing sector, accounting for 16 percent of the total investment. Foxxcon, a prominent Taiwanese manufacturer of electronic and computer components, has established its fifth factory in Bac Giang, thereby significantly contributing to the total foreign direct investment recorded in this city.
