Annual amount of overnight visitors South Korea 1995-2021
According to the UNWTO, there were only around 967 thousand overnight visitors arriving in South Korea in 2021. Prior to the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the country had seen a steady increase in tourist numbers. Between 2019 and 2021, overnight visitor numbers fell by around 95.5 percent.
