Main reasons to seek for mental health services in Portugal 2022
A survey performed in 2022 considered the main reasons for people in Portugal seeking mental health services such as psychology and psychotherapy consultations. The most important reason was to reduce anxiety and/or stress, as 75 percent of respondents selected that option. The second reason was to be happier with 63 percent. The third most chosen option was to improve relationships with others with 56 percent of responses.
