Container ship operator alliances' fleet sizes 2024

As of November 2024, the 2M Alliance, composed of Maersk and MSC, controlled a total of 1,594 container ships, making it the shipping alliance with the largest fleet. The O3 Alliance operated 1,379 ships, the majority of which were chartered.
