Container ship operator alliances' fleet sizes 2022

As of September 2022, the 2M Alliance, composed of Maersk and MSC, controlled a total of 1,424 container ships, making it the shipping alliance with the largest fleet. The O3 Alliance operated 1,256 ships, the majority of which were chartered.
