COVID-19 death rates among older U.S. adults in 2020, by gender and ethnicity
In 2020, there were around 1,228 deaths per 100,000 population among Hispanic adults aged 65 years and older in the United States due to COVID-19. The death rate among non-Hispanic White adults in the same age group that year was significantly lower at around 563 per 100,000 population.
