APAC markets language learning apps download 2024

In the first half of 2024, Duolingo generated approximately 3.5 million downloads in Indonesia, while the popular language learning app amassed around 3.2 million downloads from users in Vietnam across the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Additionally, Duolingo generated 2.4 million downloads from users in Japan during the examined period. Mobile video and language learning app Cake generated over 104 thousand downloads in South Korea, the market where the app was launched first, as well as 240 thousand downloads in Vietnam.
