In a survey conducted amongst executives and corporate directors of organizations in Australia in 2021, less than 50 percent of the surveyed organizations reported a high level of understanding of the various cyber and privacy risks which may arise from third parties and supplies. Around three percent of the organizations reported no understanding of risks including data breaches, privacy violations, and IoT/technology vendors.
