According to a survey of social media users in the United States conducted in July 2022, approximately four in 10 respondents aged between 18 and 24 years reported having never used the social media app BeReal and not being interested in it. In comparison, approximately 20 percent in the same age demographic reported having used the app and have enjoyed it, while an additional 24 percent reported not having used the app yet, but planning to do so. Around two in 10 respondents aged between 25 and 34 years reported having used BeReal but did not enjoy the experience.
