U.S. registered Gab user reach 2022, by age group
In May 2022, an online survey in the United States found that only three percent of respondents were registered users of social media platform Gab. Launched in 2016, Gab is part of the alt-tech online media galaxy and has been subjected to public scrutiny for the presence of antisemitic content and lack of content moderation. Approximately four percent of U.S. users aged between 45 and 64 years reported having a Gab account, while only one percent of users aged between 18 and 34 reported the same.
