As of 2022, the majority of Hungarians experienced a considerable increase in energy prices, regardless of their political views. However, the share of Hungarians reporting the highest price increase was recorded among voters of the political opposition while one-fourth of Fidesz-KDNP supporters noticed only a slight price increase or no increase in energy prices at all.
