Alcohol consumption frequency in Portugal 2020
In 2020, 29 percent of young people between 15 and 34 years old said they never consumed alcoholic beverages. Among Portuguese alcohol drinkers, 35 percent consumed some type of alcoholic beverage frequenty. From those frequent drinkers, 19 percent consumed two or more types of alcoholic beverages and 16 percent drank a single type of alcoholic beverage.
