Between 2015 and 2021, the number of children's hospitals in China increased by more than 30 percent. Most children's hospitals in China are located in regional centers and provincial capitals. They provide crucial specialized treatments to children and are mostly operating at full capacity, with bed occupancy rates for inpatients constantly exceeding 90 percent.
