In a ranking of the countries' nation brands in the first month after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, China was ranked to have its nation brand damaged the most based on people's perception of countries' reaction to the war. Belarus and India followed behind. On the other hand, Poland's national brand perception increased most positively after the outbreak of the war.
Nation brands most negatively impacted by Russia-Ukraine war since 2022
The ranking was made measuring both a country's legacy, i.e. historical perceptions, and legacy, meaning actions that the countries actively undertook in response to the war. Russia and Ukraine were not included in this ranking.
