This statistic shows wholesale acquisition cost and net price changes of blockbuster drug Humira in the United States between 2019 and 2020 and between 2021 and 2022. Humira, the longstanding best-selling drug worldwide, had a net price growth of nearly 10 percent in 2019-2020 and two percent in 2021-2022. This resulted in increased drug spending of some 1.4 billion U.S. dollars and 386 million U.S. dollars, respectively. Price increases of drugs often appear without being based on new clinical evidence and are therefore hotly discussed.
