A survey conducted in 2022 showed that the leading reason for purchasing smart televisions in India was to adopt new technology early, with close to 22 percent of respondents. It was followed by affordable cost and ease of use and, with 15 and 14.5 percent of respondents respectively. More and more smart home appliances have entered Indian households.
