Between 2020 and 2021, approximately 84 percent of internet users who adopted medical teleconsultation services in Brazil were between 16 and 65 years old, while only eight percent of online patients in the Latin American country were older than 65 years. In 2021, teleconsulting services on health were the most commonly available telemedicine services in Brazil.
