In 2022, approximately 24 percent of outpatient healthcare establishments in Brazil offered teleconsultations, making it the type of establishment with the highest share of units offering these type of services. Inpatient healthcare facilities followed, with around 19 percent of inpatient centers with more than 50 beds and 12 percent of inpatient healthcare institutions with up to 50 beds offering remote consultation services that year.
