In 2022, the first lever mentioned by French visible LGBT+ people when asked what had enabled their visibility at work was having a direct supervisor who was sympathetic to the expression of their sexual orientation and gender identity (82 percent). While 72 percent of non-visible LGBT+ people considered that this could be a lever for visibility, the first aspect mentioned by them was adressing LGBT+phobic behavior.
