Post-COVID-19 intention to travel abroad Indonesia 2022

According to a survey on the impact of COVID-19 on tourism conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2022, 47 percent of respondents in Indonesia stated that they did not intend to travel abroad this year. In comparison, 26 percent of respondents said that they were undecided. The same survey revealed that feeling safe due to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 was identified as the main reason for those who decided to travel.
