According to a 2022 report, a survey among IT decision-makers in the United States found that 39 percent of respondents expect the overall number of cyber attacks as well as the number of successful attacks to increase. A similar share of IT decision-makers expect the total number of cyber attacks to increase, but successful attacks will not increase. The share of those who expect only the number of successful attacks to increase was six percent.
