According to a survey on the impact of COVID-19 on tourism conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2022, 64 percent of respondents in Vietnam stated that they did not plan to travel abroad this year because of how expensive it was to travel at this point. By comparison, 39 percent of respondents stated that it was still too much hassle to travel due to COVID-19 and related travel regulations.
