Russian consumers were estimated to have spent 226 billion Russian rubles on online education for adults in 2021. The expenditure was nearly six percent higher than that on offline further education programs.

The figures are estimates based on a representative telephone survey with 1,600 respondents conducted in January 2022. The respondents were aged between 18 and 64 years.
