Reasons to travel abroad Thailand 2022

According to a survey on tourism in Thailand conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2022, 57 percent of respondents who intended to travel abroad stated that they planned to travel because they were fully vaccinated and felt safe. In comparison, around 15 percent stated that their reason to travel was the eased COVID-19 restrictions of their destination.
