Between 2010 and 2021, floods accounted for the highest number of internal displacements in the Asia-Pacific region, close to 114 million. Around 216 thousand people were displaced due to extreme temperatures during this time period.
China leads the list of most affected countries in the Asia-Pacific region, with over 70 million people displaced in the country from 2010 to 2021.
