According to a 2022 survey, 45.1 percent of respondents in Singapore believed that climate change was an important issue that deserves to be monitored. On the other hand, 40.5 percent of respondents also perceived climate change to be a serious and an immediate threat to their country and well-being.

1,386 respondents from all ten ASEAN member states participated in the 2022 survey, of which 12.5 percent of respondents were from Singapore. The survey was conducted both online and offline.
