Amazon Appstore: age group distribution of global app users 2022, by category

During the second quarter of 2022, social and kids apps hosted and distributed in the Amazon Appstore registered higher engagement among global users aged between 18 and 24 years. Approximately 38 percent and 33 percent of news app and sports app users engaging with apps in these categories on the Amazon Appstore were aged between 50 and 60 years, respectively. Additionally, 21 percent of education app users in the Amazon Appstore were aged between 35 and 49 years in the examined quarter.
