Largest political advertisers on Google in Brazil 2022, by number of ads

Between January 1 and September 14, 2022, film production company Brasil Paralelo had the highest number of ads promoted on Google among the leading political advertisers on the platform. Meanwhile, candidate for presidency Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, with a spending of 3.53 million Brazilian reals, featured 1,248 ads on Google, while his opponent and current President Jair Messias Bolsonaro ranked third, with an expenditure of around 1.76 million Brazilian reals, promoted 72 posts. Starting in August, the campaigning for the country's general elections has already generated a promotion of more than 19,000 ads on the platform so far.
